Classic Deluxe (Interior)
Of course you know that my rule is to look around back.
And in back of one of the abandoned businesses in Quitaque we found a car. A Plymouth. A big, green Plymouth. It had been there for a while – the license plate had expired in October 1993. My pal over at Lightscatter helped me out and identified it as a Plymouth Classic Deluxe, which were made between 1948 and 1952.
Another rule I have is to look inside – and when I looked inside the car, this is what I saw.

It needs a little work but this is a nice car to restore (or customize). I doubt if there are a lot left so it could be rare.

I bet if you went to Quitaque, you could leave with that car.

Fantastic processing!

Thank you, Laura. The car’s been parked so long there’s a ring of little trees growing all around it. I had to lean in through the branches to get the shot.

You’re welcome! That’s amazing about the growth around the car.

Rendered beautifully in its decaying wonder.

Thanks, Robert. This was probably the best find of the day – and this was the same day as that creepy doll…

Thanks, Ashley. A large credit for the tones is from the NIK Silver Efex plug-in – I love working with it!
