After I made this shot, a group of people were swimming right there, but at least they followed instructions to stay above the dam.

The new sign seems frivolous compared to the others, as if someone read the fine print on an insurance policy and had a panic attack.

On second viewing, it looks like the frame for the signs is as old as the other two signs. So what was swapped out when the panic attack hit, and was it of similar gravity as the first two. Perhaps No Skating on Thin Ice, or the Texas equivalent?

Don’t Mess with Texas sounds roughly equivalent to Don’t Skate on Thin Ice, so my vote goes for the not-mess sign.

I am very fond of the obvious age difference in the signs.
