Love + Peace (a seasonal message)
When I made this image, it was early enough in January that the Christmas messages of love and peace were still in the church window.
They’re probably gone by now.

One Day | One Image 
I sometimes feel like I am travelling back in time through your photos, Melinda. And not just as far as last Xmas. This has a 1960s feel to it.

Do you think it’s the grainy film look I introduced in Photoshop? Or the style of the building? Because I see what you’re saying.

Yes, style of the building, tonal qualities and the composition. I have seen many photos of old streetscapes that have a lot of street in the foreground with a building in the background.
