Thanks, Sue. My family own property at 612 Broadway, and I often think I should do a series of images of OTHER 612 Broadway locations. I don’t think this town had enough blocks to get to the 600s…

I love this photo. And the idea of shooting all the 612 Broadway’s you can find. The one in Victoria is dull, dull, dull. But the one in Vancouver is exactly your kind of thing (houses Anna’s Cake House), or at least with an 18mm lens you can get next door in which is more interested, and perhaps doomed to redevelopment. Better come quickly.

I’ll try to get to Vancouver this week…I could go for some cake!

Yes, apparently.

Even without the street sign, this is a commanding photograph, so redolent of country life. The contrasting tones are really nice, and you’ve added that Melinda Green Harvey sky again. I love seeing this one big.

Thanks, Linda. Glad you like the sky! I just got a new lens – 18mm – so I have a feeling there are going to be some big skies showing up with more frequency here on the blog.

it is what “off Broadway” feels like to the actors who have their eyes set on performing on Broadway 🙂
