I can’t explain one thing in this shot, except maybe the sidewalk.
Left to right:
1. The Pink Panther? Apparently, the folks here are on a first name basis, and just call him Pink.
2. A light-colored brick building that looks much newer than the ones on either side. An attic full of bundled copies of Collector’s Weekly. An awning frame collapsed down with heavy wire mesh bolted to it to keep the bundles from landing on the sidewalk.
3. A pile of bricks in front of a long-boarded-up window. And a shiny aluminum door frame.

It gets stranger: at the end of the block, on the left, is the Roy Orbison Museum, which features an exceedingly creepy mural of Mr. Orbison. (This is his hometown.) Nothing makes sense here….
