Fenced in. Or out.
I like this fence. I like it lot.
My favorite part is that it’s not regular chain link. It’s a series of Ms, or Vs, or Ws – depending on where you start. I’m no fence historian, but I think that means this is old.
My other favorite part is that it’s not that effective – standing wide open and all – but that it takes it job seriously enough to keep doing it.

That fencing makes me think of people in a dark workshop (the kind of building you like to photograph), weaving wire like industrial basket makers.

I can’t remember ever seeing this kind of fence before. I wonder if it’s a regional design. I like the high contrast in the photo. It’s a bit stronger than usual.

This shot seemed to want to be contrast-y. I don’t know why, but it turned out. Once again, the photo knew best.

I strike out on fencing history for this one, though I swear I have seen it before. Whether in life or a photo I don’t recall.
