It doesn’t look all that cozy to me….
…but it is quaint, with the old sign and the rock buildings.
I think the cottages at the Cozy Court are apartments, but there’s not too much (or any) information readily available. My attention span, in other words, was shorter than the search. Maybe my Research Department can find out?

ohh nostalgia… Of simpler lives and modest dreams made big by a marquee.

Vera – that’s a very poetic way to put it!

I guess I wouldn’t mind looking out my window and seeing that crazy sign. It’s way better looking than my neighbors truck.

Maybe you could turn it into an Art Truck when no one’s looking? You could use this as your model: http://abt.cm/1cVfKXP

My verdict – less than inviting!

I’ve stayed in motels like this for extended periods. Such stays have been punctuated by unnerving events like fires, stabbings, and police raids.
As to research, it is not very revealing. You are supposed to call for availability. I expect there is availability, if they are open at all – the street view does not show a single car in front of any of the units. I think it must have fancied itself as a pretty classy place at one time.
It was on the market a year or two ago – and the listing indicates that the property includes the original Alpine firehouse which is in the foreground in your photo.

I couldn’t find much about the place, which may or may not be the reason I lobbed it over to the Research Department.
Can you clarify which, if any, of the fires/stabbings/raids you were directly involved in, while you were staying at places like this?

Ha! Not a single one. Just a demonstration of sampling – intersect with these places often enough and ‘stuff happens.’

Kind of like running with a bad crowd – the one your parents probably warned you about in high school!
