Recline. Decline.
Out in Bailey County, on the corner where Farm Road 54 makes a hard left to the north, the old Bula School molders away. The oldest building has collapsed to the point where on the front facade remains; there are a couple of other buildings that aren’t quite that far gone but it’s easy to see where they are heading.

Two chairs, no waiting. I hope you had your hard hat and safety shoes on when you took this.

I had neither, so I didn’t go inside. I am thinking I need to go back out there and see if that roof has finished caving in; it’s been three years since I took the photo.

Well, I am rather depressed,. When I become REALLY depressed I will go to recline in that chair and stare at the sky for rays of well-being. Or at the dead ceiling which will match my dark mood.

Vera, I hope you can find a better chair to recline in. This one was heavily decorated by bird droppings. But, as you point out, there IS some sun, so if you need sunlight on your head maybe you could bring a (thick) blanket to put on the chair….

Why does this remind me of a dentist office? I am sure you don’t have an answer. Perhaps too many flourides when a child.

That is correct: I do not have an answer for this, although it makes me think that perhaps your childhood dentist worked in very primitive conditions…..
