I really like how the sign leans but that little weed is perfectly straight.

I don’t suppose there are other letters such as P, A, R, I, N, G anywhere near by? Thought not! It reminds me however of one episode of parking in one of those vast airport carparks where you need to make a mental (preferably written) note of the Letter and Number of where you parked the car. I failed to do that once and spent a full hour on my return walking up and down the rows of cars before eventually I found mine. Never again!!

That was a good question, Andy, so I headed over to Google Street View to see what I could find out. This is what I found: http://bit.ly/1gYYgBM
My own car is a distinctive color, so I never have trouble finding it in parking lots. When I am traveling and have a rent car, though, I almost always end up taking extra time locating it among all the other white or silver small sedans….

Clearly that was my mistake – driving a small silver car, just like 50% of all the other cars in the car park!

That is a bizarre sign, seen in the context of the street view. No obvious explanation at all.

There’s an Avenue K in Lubbock…but this isn’t on Avenue K.
