Clever catch 🙂

Thanks, Dawn. And honestly, I didn’t even really notice it until later; the 2-way radio sign and all the rectangles is what caught my attention initially.

All the more wonderful when discovered later. 🙂

I did sort of laugh out loud when I realized what I’d gotten!

An image that rewards a good long look. Rectangles – almost all different. Each an individual footprint of past occupancy. Well observed Melinda.

Thanks, Andy. As I mentioned to another commenter, it was actually all those rectangles that first caught my attention (you know I like some rectangles!). I also like the ghosts of the downspouts, and now wish I’d taken a little more time to walk across the street to get some close shots. Next time, I guess….

I like the downspouts – they are like shadows and had me looking for strangely shaped light fixtures in the foreground.

It’s kind of an odd thing – it looks like the downspouts had been there through many re-paintings of the building but have now been removed. Obviously I need to get back down to Alpine right away and seen what a going on!

Any excuse for a trip to Alpine.

Yes, that’s sort of my rule. (I can be available to escort Canadians to Alpine, for example, if any Canadians would ever be interested.)

There is lots of Alpine around here, if one cares to go to rarefied levels to find it. I think that a flat Alpine would be an interesting change of pace.

There are mountains at this Alpine, too, which is kind of hard to imagine. But it is still an interesting change of pace.
