Urban Details: Water, dancing

While I was disappointed that I didn’t find the sorts of things I like to photograph during my short visit to Atlanta, it was a good experience for me, as I was forced to look at the sorts of things that I’d usually barely notice.

This shot, of the water feature at Centennial Olympic Park, kicks off my short series that I call Urban Details.

On weekends, this part of the park is overrun with kids (and adults, too, I expect) playing in the fountains. I was there on a weekday and it was mostly deserted.

  1. LOVE This photo Melinda!! Outstanding!!!

  2. I can see all the people dancing and caught in a freeze frame shot, there is also something cinematic about the shot. Nice one.

  3. Some look like ghost …. beautiful
