(not a) church
Down along the river (which hard to think of as an international border, even though it is), there’s a movie set.
So, at best, this is just a fake church….

Great shot – Your take on Magritte’s “La trahison des images” with the caption: “ce ne sont pas une église” comes to mind 🙂 Nice work!

Not only is it NOT a church, it is also NOT a pipe.
(I am at a conference, and spent the boring bits this morning looking up that Magritte painting and using Google Translate on the caption. Thanks for providing me with something interesting. I’ll gladly try to repay the favor sometime!)

I am painfully aware of how those conferences go…with your splendid images in my reader every day, consider the debt paid in full.

That hardly seems like an even trade, so if you change your mind in the future, please let me know! (This afternoon’s session was so bad that I was certain I was about to find out if it was possible to LITERALLY die from boredom.)

A scene from one of those Spaghetti Westerns perhaps (as we used to call them).
