I guess you’re right. The energy savings bulb means they were planning on staying a while!

Do you think maybe the bulb burned out and they didn’t have another one? And maybe drove into town to get one and while they were there decided to just stay?

When there are left items like that cup, it makes the abandonment all the more poignant…..

Sue, that’s exactly how I felt when I saw that cup. It makes the departure of the resident seem unplanned and hurried, neither of which point toward a happy leave-taking.
