The Morning Came to Tell of Silences

The fog seemed determined to stay around that day, and we couldn’t see across the water at the Petit Passage, which divided the Digby Necks.
It was very quiet.
Except for the foghorn

So much to see in this image, I wish I too could hear the foghorn.

I live on the Texas plains, so foghorns are exotic and mysterious to my ears. And I wish I could hear them more often.
