Your photo is proof that good things can come from bad. Like the balance of rectangles, but probably more importantly, the mood conveyed.

Thank you, Linda. Sometimes, on days like that one, the very last thing I want to do is take pictures. I sort of forced myself to get out that particular day…

Thank you, Richard. And I am doing better – some days are just harder than others.

Thank you, Christian. We don’t get a lot of cloud around here so I try to shoot on cloudy days, for variety.

Yes, it is dark but I still enjoy seeing what you are up to. Hope your mood is better today, Melinda.

Thank you, Kate. I shot this while I was still reeling from the US election results (which I’m still not dealing with very well) and an argument with a co-worker (which is long past). So…things are better now.

I’m glad. I imagine the next four years of dealing with the election result will be difficult. 😥

Ugh. I am not looking forward to. However, I’d previously made arrangements to live in our blogger friend’s Ehpem’s guest room. Neither of us thought it would ever be more than just a stupid joke between us…

Yes, so many jokes took on a new meaning after the election. 😥

I agree with Linda. This is minimalist, and it has a power that so many images lack. Capturing an image like this should lift your spirits – I hope it did.

Thank you, Andy. I made this the next day after the US election, when I was just in shock at what at just happened. To be honest, I am not sure if I’m much better now, but I did make arrangements last year with our friend Ehpem, just in case, so I may be living on his sofa for the next 4 years…

Thanks – I go by this spot nearly every day, but never really noticed it before.
