I guess it would be accurate to describe the land out here as being “as flat as the top of a gate.” Or at least as flat as the top of THIS gate…

Flat, but somehow slightly askew.

The gate is a little wonky. It’s pretty wide – gotta be able to get a hearse through there, since it’s sort of the “service entrance” to a cemetery.
