I kept going by this urn. I kept going by this urn and not taking its picture. After my third or fourth time by, I realized that it was just lovely and that it wanted me to photograph it.
I am glad I heard it.

It’s an occupational hazard! I spent about ten years photographing roadside crosses; during those years I rarely traveled very far down the highway without making at least a couple of u-turns. Sort of a wonder I didn’t wind up with my OWN roadside cross!
