Nice comment from Laurie! I really like this photo – so many crumbling details to look at – especially nice to click through to the larger image and have a close look. Seems like Lubbock needs more artists, transforming these kinds of places into garrets – this would have made a terrific studio at one time with all those windows.

I agree – Laurie did a fine job on the haiku for this shot. I only recently found this location, and am intrigued by it. This particular building is one of most interesting; the windows and high ceilings would have made it a nice space for a studio. Too bad it’s come to this sad end.
