We buy

What remains behind when a business closes down interests me.  Almost never do I encounter an empty, but clean, building.  Variations on this scene are common.

So, this place. I guess they bought grain and feed.  Purina was involved. What happened next?  I don’t know.  But whatever it was, it’s been a while since it happened.

  1. That is a very nice wall, for photography anyway.
I wonder what a P-A-G is when it resides in Sudan.

    • I liked how the plaster was falling off, leaving the bare wall. I don’t know what P-A-G refers to; I’ll try looking at some of the other shots and see if I caught anything that might explain it. If not, I guess we can just make something up.

  4. This photo is interesting on so many levels. The lines lead you into a dark void and who knows what lies beyond. One of your best, and that’s sayin’ something!

    • Wow – thanks, Ken, for such grand praise! I agree that there is a lot going on in this shot – including light coming in from all sorts of places. (That’s what caught my attention. After the peeling wall.)
