The light from the other side
By now, I am sure that everyone knows that I think alleys are just a great place to look for photographic opportunities.
When I was in Chicago, walking up (I think it was “up”) Michigan Avenue (unless it was another street), I saw this fantastic scene: an alley that was below street level, that curved away from me, but toward the light.
I wanted to follow it.

Great shot, that light is wonderful, the fire escapes so well placed. And, did you follow it?

Sadly, I did not follow it. That alley was below street level, and I couldn’t figure out how to get down there. I guess the only option, really, is for me to go back to Chicago and figure it out!
