On the top level of a parking garage along South Beverly Drive, I spotted this bit of graffiti. And a security camera. Or, perhaps more accurately, a “security” camera.

  1. Even if someone has a misplaced desire to express themselves through graffiti, it takes a lot of nerve to do something like this in front of a camera. Still, the end result is very photogenic.

  2. Look at all the rectangles where they have over-painted graffiti! That camera must not be monitored. Probably they hire a woman painter to clean up, a babe, and monitor her work. That way they can tell the client – oh yes, we monitor that camera xx% of the week.

    • There DOES seem to be a lot of graffiti on that wall – given that there is a camera and everything. Your “babe” theory is probably right! (Or – it’s not a camera at all, but just the housing. I can neither confirm nor deny that I have previous work experience in the – let’s just call it “transit industry” – where that very idea was discussed.)

  3. I enjoy your grammar comments almost as much as your photographs. Thanks for the ironic quotation marks!
