Some minor censorship

Even with half the sign missing, I think its intent is very clear and I did, in fact, EP T!

  1. Absolutely love this! Brilliantly captured. The sepia works really well.

  3. Someone has KEOU! On the other hand it could be a message for ‘ET’ – remember that cute little fella? Whatever – well spotted as always.

  5. Between weather, time and offended natures, the ‘Keep Out’ signs don’t last long around here, especially if made of plastic covered paper. In the old days, the metal signs made good targets prior to poaching. Judging by the manufactured nail holes in the corners, this one’s metal and not faded enough to have become brittle. Looks like an offended nature preceded your photograph.

    • It’s sort of hard to imagine what might have occurred, leaving only half the sign… but it can’t have been good.

Metal-signs-as-targets is a thing around here. Poaching, not so much, because whoever heard of poaching a cotton field?!
