Plastic bag (for Brett Erickson)
I had a conference in Phoenix. It was related to my real job, but that didn’t mean I left my camera at home!
I found this gem within an hour of my arrival, when I was walking along the side of the convention center. I knew immediately I needed to make the shot, for my very good pal Brett Erickson. He’d’ve done the same for me.

I have no idea what that sign means but the arrangement of ‘objects’ in this shot works so well, Melinda

I think a standpipe is sort of like a fire hydrant that’s built into a structure. So a “wet” standpipe would be (I’m just guessing) one that’s always got water in it. I’d never seen signs like this before, but they were all over the place in Phoenix; it must be some sort of local building regulation.
