One Day | One Image 
There was a roadkill rabbit (which might be a good name for a rock band, come to think of it) near the driveway to our apartment complex. Over the last few weeks, it’s more or less become some matted, dirty fur and a skeleton, similar to this photo, but smaller and with a more urban background.

I would definitely go to a show by Roadkill Rabbit.
Also: will the ACTUAL roadkill rabbit be still there when I’m up your way in a few weeks?

I caught a flash of the carnage as I drove by, and turned around to get the shot. I usually don’t shoot roadkill,but there was something sort of compelling about this scene.

Guess they got dehydrated while playing too much. Tom Roush sings the old songs with their lyrics as written. ” Home on the Range ” is one of them. Melinda, glad you’re not a walking fashion show. Yet even if you were we would enjoy your images.

Yes, dehydration-while-playing is a constant danger in the desert, as this photo illustrates.
It seems like the combination of high heeled shoes and camera gear would lead to certain disaster…

I’m not all that familiar with skeletal remains, but I do know there are quite a few deer in this area… Or were, anyway.
