This is just a guess on my part, but it looks as though the old hotel has found new life as a retirement home.

I didn’t go in; standing in the shade across the street was about all the exploring I was up for that day.

The East-West Divide

Graffiti artists have marked the east-west divide on a wall that runs north and south. That seems confusing.
