White on white 2
Second in the series of white/white.
This is the door to the hotel room, which was actually an apartment in a building that used to be a hospital. If you ever find yourself needing overnight accommodations in Alpine, go to the Holland Hotel and ask for room 103 of the Wright Building. Then you can see this for yourself.

Well, I think I might have to traverse the continent just to see this!
I really like this kind of shot. I don’t take them often enough but this reminds me that I should. It is very compatible (photographically) with corrugated iron.

Oh, yes, you SHOULD plan a trip. I will volunteer to be your guide!
As far as I know, you are the only person to find a connection between a curtain and corrugated metal…

Light is one thing in common I think – reflected from the somewhat shiny metal or seeping through, brightly, is pretty similar. And there are the patterns, including the tendency to a moiré pattern in digital. And the folds in the curtains can look a bit like corrugated iron too. Those are my thoughts, and I’m sticking to them for the next couple of hours, at least.
