The road to nowhere

120713

The streets are wide enough so trucks have an easy time backing up, and pulling away from, loading docks.

It makes me think of the Talking Heads:

Maybe you wonder where you are
I don’t care
Here is where time is on our side
Take you there…take you there

We’re on a road to nowhere

  1. Great contrast between the flat and straight road and the turbulent uneven sky above. The sky looks like a cup of hot chocolate with whipped cream …so now I am going to make myself one (hot cocoa-whipped cream).

  4. Nice shot. You’ve been in a sepia kind of mood recently.

  5. It seems that this road leads to the kitchen, and hot chocolate.
I like the tire tracks too, they tell a story. But it looks a bit like they have rubbed some patina off an unused surface rather than being a rubber overlay. Which fits with the shot, and your blog in general. That sky is to die for.
