Indoor plants
It’s just never a good sign when weeds are growing up through cracks in the concrete floor on the INSIDE of a building.
The back of this building is completely gone, and the front may as well be. But there’s a metal structure covering (what’s left of) the building. Someone thinks it’s worth saving, and I wish them all the luck. In the meantime, though, those weeds just keep on sprouting.

Where light penetrates, weeds will soon follow – amazing how they force themselves up through the thin cracks in solid concrete and tarmac.

It is hard to imagine this building being resuscitated, but perhaps it will happen. I sure like the windows that these weeds lead us to. A nice combination of rectangles.

Were you relieved to finally see some rectangles show up on the blog?
My assessment of this place is that it’s past being salvaged, but I could be wrong.

Yes. After so many triangles in one picture, or was it two, it gave me a familiar comfortable feeling to see rectangles again in these pages.
