A substantial sky, 2
Another substantial sky, as a follow up to this one.
When I was in Chicago last spring, I was able to check out a bit of the city between sessions at my conference*. One afternoon, I went to Navy Pier to see what I could see. Maybe I was there on the wrong day, or in the wrong season: there wasn’t too much going on.
Oh, except for that storm.

*I really did go to the sessions.

I never had the opportunity to visit the Pier on my trips there so I don’t know what activities you or I missed. Chicago is such a photogenic city and this photo is proof.

There were signs that the Pier was a popular destination. Just not on a cold day. I think it would be a great place for street (pier?) photography, too.

Funny that places NOT in Texas have nice skies, right?
Glad you like this one!

‘Substantial’ is an understatement, Melinda. The perfect offset for those glowering towers.

Thanks, Andy. I like your phrase “glowering towers”, by the way.
