I like the composition and the textures and also how the chain promises security to the poor cable, which disintegrates despite the chain’s noble efforts.

Where are the copper thieves in Texas?

Not in Quitaque, obviously. They’ve probably skipped it in order to concentrate on the larger towns in the area. Like Turkey (population 410) or Silverton (population 688).
