For help
You know how I am – I’ll make pictures just about anywhere. Including here, in the bathroom of a room at a local hospital. And this is just the way I saw it – no moving anything around to make it look better. Because what’s better than the way those things all came together on their own?

Got something to say? Go ahead and say it – and I’ll reply sometime around July 10th.

Given their daily room rate, it certainly should look perfect.

Thanks, Laura. There was a lot of pedestrian traffic along the sidewalk, and the break between groups of walkers came at a nice time!

Thanks, Richard. I was visiting my father-in-law at the hospital and had my camera with me, because that’s what I do. He already is confused by my work – just think how he’d feel if he knew I made pictures in the BATHROOM!

I don’t know why that painting sticks with me. I even posted a photo on my own blog that reminded me of it, though the resemblance is stronger in your photograph. See https://lindagrashoff.wordpress.com/2012/04/17/cortez-again/ and scroll down.

I think it’s the implied narrative, a little term I learned in that photography class…!
