Yes, I was that person at the theatre the other night using the time before the show to take photos. And to experiment with depth of field. I had to do something other than just SIT there…

We recently took our daughter to the 2Cellos. The venue said “No Photos” so I didn’t bring my camera, but Sulic and Hauser said “Take all the photos you want. We don’t care.”
ARGH!

“No Photos” and “No Cameras” are two different things! (That’s my keen legal mind at work.) (And of course I’m not an attorney.)

Well, you know how I am – I’ll take a photo damn near anywhere. (One time I got in trouble at a Whole Foods for taking pictures inside the store. Maybe they thought I was a corporate spy. And I wasn’t even shooting the merchandise! The store is in an old trolley barn and has an interesting ceiling that I was shooting.)
