Like looking through glass
I think I owe you an apology; the other day I posted a link to a song that wasn’t even by Bruce Cockburn. That must have been very confusing, as it went against everything that you expect from us here at One Day | One Image, musically.
And that funny-looking instrument he’s playing? It’s a charango.

If you hadn’t mentioned it, I would have thought it was an electric ukulele.

I’ve seen him play it several times in concert and it took me about ten years to FINALLY remember the name! If it’d been an electric ukulele, though, I would have remember that on one try! (And not to brag or anything, but I was a member of the 6th grade ukulele band at Haynes Elementary School.)

He he. That is very cool. It is a huge trend here to play one. I borrowed my cousin’s to do a photobooth strip late last year. I look silly pretending to play it. I had no idea how to hold the thing!

He has a lovely voice! The comments were very interesting reading. He is playing ukulele and singing in a heavenly choir now.

I can’t even imagine hearing “Somewhere over the rainbow” sung by anyone else, now that I’ve heard his version.
