I had to return to this photo- I deeply love it. It feels redolent of some scene from a film made in the late thirties…such a splendid image, and a splendid spider, too. Regards.

I am so glad you like it. In addition to the spider in the web, there’s one on the left side of post, near the top. There were webs all over the ground, too, which were heavy with moisture from a fog that was just lifting.
