window washing day
Then there was that one morning in Edinburgh when the window washer – four floors down – reached all the way up and cleaned our windows. I followed the brush from window to window to get The Shot I Wanted. It seemed like a critical moment, somehow.

Thanks, Frank! Our vacation rental had windows on three sides and I followed the window-washer the whole way around. This was the last window and was the only photo I really liked.
