and look how far the light came
The way the late sunlight caught the wineglasses in a different way than the entire rest of the scene caught my eye.
And it reminded me of the line “Glasses of wine on a crate between us/Catch the light, seem to glow from within” from the song “Look How Far,” by Bruce Cockburn. The song was in my head for a long time that evening.
