The light from the other side
By now, I am sure that everyone knows that I think alleys are just a great place to look for photographic opportunities.
When I was in Chicago, walking up (I think it was “up”) Michigan Avenue (unless it was another street), I saw this fantastic scene: an alley that was below street level, that curved away from me, but toward the light.
I wanted to follow it.

White on white, 8
If you look closely, you may recognize the statue from this post. Obviously the columns are made from a more permanent stone than that dissolving angel.

Cubs fans in suits. And hats.
We rode the Red Line to take in a baseball game at Wrigley Field. And saw these three men in the station; their business suits and those goofy hats caught my attention and I played a round of the game I like to call “Well, I wouldn’t have worn THAT.”
Then we went to our seats at one of the Wrigley rooftops. And who shows up?
The same guys.

People? Again?
Honestly, this has me a little worried. First there was this shot, and then this one. Even yesterday’s alley had a person in it. And now, again with the people.
After all these years of people-free blogging, this is an unexpected departure from my normal shots. I can’t explain it. And you know what else? I’ve even got a few more shots with people….
