Three Toilets
This amusement park has been around forever.
When I was a little kid, my parents took their sixth-grade Sunday School class there. One of the kids threw up on a ride. That’s practically my only memory of the place.
I drive by there every couple of years, and this time I saw three portable toilets. Not that they made me think of throw-up kid or anything like that.

Cast Away
My friend Gerald and I meet for coffee three times a year – at Christmas and on our birthdays. We’re running behind this year: our Christmas meet-up was in February and my March birthday had been long gone when we met at the end of April. It was an unseasonable cold day, when we finally did meet, and I had to park down the block from the coffee place because it looked like everyone in town was in need of a hot beverage to get them through the day. A normal person* would have walked on the sidewalk to get back to the coffee shop.
Anyway, I saw this in an alley between where I parked and where I was meeting Gerald.

*So, not a photographer. That’s usually my main way to define a “normal” person. And also a “normal person” wouldn’t have brought along a camera.
