Badly Painted Paintball

Somehow, I don’t think that sign adequately conveys how much fun paintball is.

(I don’t really know how much fun it is. I played laser tag once, and was outscored by a bunch of little kids – never mind by how much – so I think I’d enjoy paintball about the same amount as I enjoyed laser tag. So, in that case, maybe the sign is appropriate, after all.)

The rising moon split the tree

If you stood in just the right place, squinted some, and used quite a bit of imagination, then it really did look like that rising moon had split the tree on its way up. Or maybe it was just my imagination getting the better of me – that happens sometimes.
