The simple designs are usually elegant.

I like the rhythm of the columns and wall, and the light fixtures and conduits. But what I like best is the way the door, and the window beyond, interrupt that rhythm.

I like how you got the light from window in the door opening, turning the door into a point of light when clearly if you had stood a bit to one side or the other it would have been a black hole.

I think that opening and the light coming from it are what caught my attention in this one. For one thing, it breaks up the symmetry of the wall, and you know how I am about symmetry….

I think you have an ambivalent relationship with symmetry – many of your shots are of highly symmetrical subjects, but framed asymmetrically. It works well.

In my defense, I have ambivalent relationships with many things. (And I realize that is not a particularly strong defense, but it’s all I’ve got.)
