Keep out

Two things here:
– The KEEP OUT painted on the wall, because the state of the yard made the sign unnecessary.

– The way the leaves of the plant make that lovely radial pattern which is such a nice counterpoint to the hard rectangles of the window openings.

Of course I had to stop.

PS – For those of you keeping score, this is the 13th post taken on August 16.  Yes – a good day.

  1. It says “keep out” but it’s so inviting!

  2. A truly low-tech sign.

Thorns and snakes – if they can disobey the sign, then surely the paparazzi can too! I wonder if the window plant is to shield from prying lenses.

  3. Talk about juxtapositions! Wow, Melinda, you sure do find the most wonderful treasures. I have to admit I’d still not quite convinced that you are still on planet earth with some of this stuff, it’s just so surreal! Your work is just awesome, all your pieces tell great stories.
