Risk Avoidance

This is one of those times when I can’t add anything more to what’s already there.

Which way the wind blows

Which way does the wind blow? The answer seems to be “yes.”

The approach

091915

Remember yesterday, when I mentioned how we were easily amused by the locks and dam on the River Walk. Here’s Exhibit Two: a water taxi approaching the lock!

Dam the river

091815

The Museum Reach part of the River Walk features a little dam and a set of locks. People from places where locks and/or dams are a thing probably laugh about how much entertainment value we felt these two things added to our River Walk walk.

Progression

091715

I had to stand in a little line to get this shot – there were two people ahead of me. Normally, I wouldn’t have waited, but I decided the progression of those arches, the dome above, and the pair of plants was worth the few seconds’ wait. And, because I tried to be a good student in my class with Sam Abell, I remembered to microcompose that last arch all the way at the end.
