On the subject of waiting

122616

I almost never arrange a shot. My subjects usually just show up in front of me/the camera.

This is a rare exception, from last summer’s photography class. I am pretty sure I was going for something profound, and am just as sure that I failed to achieve it. But, still, it shows what kind of lighting you can achieve with a iPhone, placed strategically in a dark closet.

Like they say, that first step is bad. After that, though, you ought to be fine.

3 vehicles

I was sort of impressed the way the two cars and that old trailer arranged themselves, all with more or less the same slant. Way to go, random vehicles!

Construction Debris

This building used to be the county jail. Before too much longer, it’ll be the admin office for the county sheriff, a change that seems symmetrical in a way.

About this time last year, I got to go inside for a look around. It looked like this, which is probably a lot more dramatic than it looks now!

Job Site

Since I got that new knee the other day, I still can’t drive. So my shooting’s been a bit curtailed.

My Patient Spouse is an architect, and the other afternoon he drove me around while he checked out a couple of his projects that are under construction. This is part of an expansion for the local Meals on Wheels program.
