The rhythm of the place
So, I concentrated on the top of the building, while my friend Ehpem was looking down lower. I guess between us, we had the place covered, photographically speaking.
(If you haven’t looked at Ehpem’s post, you really should. He got a creepy image at the theater.)

It is a beautiful building, in a sad state now. I bet there are some very interesting spaces inside, if one could only get in there.

I really wish we could have gotten inside. Legally, I mean. The LACP ought to do an urbex workshop; photographers could probably spend an entire weekend inside there and still not get it all.

Good idea. Pitch it to them. Propose an Urbex photographer friend to teach the class 🙂

I’d take the class. Maybe.

The place has character. Like me its showing its age and seems less useful.

It did have a lot of character! I can’t imagine that there’s just nothing useful it can do anymore.

Like the ‘rhythm’ ie the symmetry of this shot. Buildings acquire something ‘extra’ as they slowly decay – a fact you know so very well, of course, Melinda.

Thank you, Andy. It’s true that I do have a certain fondness for decaying buildings!
