Most of an angel
Poor angel: she’s missing some critical components. At first, I thought maybe she’d fallen over, but I’ve drifted to another idea now, and think she’s probably the victim of cemetery vandalism. But either way, she’s still doing her assigned task, watching over the grave of Tommie Allen, who died in 1911, just five days shy of his ninth birthday.

She seems very devoted, doesn’t she. Or maybe there just aren’t that many options for partial angels.

People are idiots. That’s why, I guess.
But stone angels are devoted and placid and lovely…and divine.
