Past the tipping point
The thing is that a lot of small towns in this part of Texas are past the tipping point, and there doesn’t appear to be any way to salvage them.

What a shame it’s happened. What a delight you shoot it.

This place was very interesting – it was hard to photograph the interior details because the roof is falling in. Also trespassing. But someone spent a LOT of money on the building and it’s sad it didn’t work out.
