It looked a fright
The wind out here blows nearly all the time. And it blew the curtains against the knife-sharp edges of broken glass, cutting them into shreds. It was a frightening scene, really.

WhenI see your Texas images, I imagine Texas as a wasteland…surely it isn’t

My part of Texas is tipping toward “wasteland” – years of drought, population decline, changes in economies, etc. make it look bleak. Or, if you’re me, make it look photogenic.
Other parts of the state look completely different – places with hills and trees and rain and people.
