the empty part

Last year I attended a conference in New Orleans; after a day or two all the people and noise and commotion started to get the better of me. And then I found sanctuary in the far end of the convention center.

  1. Ooo, I love this…
    The Light
    The Conrast
    The lines…
    But above all, the SIMPLICITY!

  2. No conferences for me. But I sure can relate. Plus it is a great image.

  3. I was all set to tell you how much I like the contrast and lines, and then I saw that Sue already said that—and mentioned two other elements that I also like a lot. I like the square format, too. Interesting that your phone camera did what you want more than the “real” camera did.

    • Sorry about Sue getting in ahead of you on the comments…! I have actually gotten a few phone-camera photos into shows; I can’t decide if that’s sort of amusing, or a little bit maddening, given all the “read” stuff I lug around. I guess a photo’s a photo, no matter how you made it.
