Time Span

On a recent trip to Austin, I went to a sculpture park to see what I could find.

I didn’t see any wayfinding devices at the place – maybe I missed them, which opens up an interesting line of thought – so I was left to wander through the wooded compound. Sculptures would loom up in front of me, which made for a very interesting experience.

On April 5, the sun shines right through that hole in the middle and lights up a small plaque on the ground. April 5 was the day the piece was completed and the artist’s birthday.

Big Eyes

This place is called The Famous, so I’ll assume you’ve already heard of it. But there’s a very slight chance you missed the creepy stuff in the display window.

You’re welcome.

$10.99

That bracelet seems to be a bargain, at $10.99. I am not sure how much the…we’ll call it “outfit”…costs, but it’s probably a similar bargain.

Not Today

Well, this is surely a disappointment to anyone who needed a doughnut today, isn’t it?

Just Like They Left It

Another shot of that place from yesterday , whose “short break” has now lasted 665 days. But who’s counting?
