Just Like They Left It

Another shot of that place from yesterday , whose “short break” has now lasted 665 days. But who’s counting?

Vending Machine (left behind)

According to the hand-scrawled sign on the door of this place, they closed on August 15, 2015, for a “short time.” I guess “short” is longer than I would have thought, since it’s still closed.

But I guess they did intend to come back: the stuff’s still there.

There is no more news

I hope no one is waiting to get the newspaper from this vending machine. But if they are, at least they can sit down while they wait.

It was indeed a dynasty

Sure. Why wouldn’t it be a dynasty?

(Also, if you willfully mis-read that sign, you might want to learn a little more about kcat.) (Then again, you might now.)

Seasonal Commerce

I like fireworks stands, probably because they’re closed almost all year. There’s something endearing about them, sort of hopeful, and patient while they wait for those few days each year when they can do some business.
